Bugs, Bugs

Caeden is at that buggy age. Last night we came home with two earthworms and some dirt in a box and a firefly, the first one of the season, in a plastic baggy. Firefly went to bed with him and has been drug all over the house. He tried to hitch a ride to meeting this afternoon too. My job is now to do some researching on fireflies. Maybe we won't be telling Caeden that some fireflies eat each other....

Couple of Cheese Balls

No, this post is not just a shameless plug to show how adorable my little ones are. (Though they are quite handsome.) I was flipping through the pictures on the camera, and couldn't help but notice the big cheesy grins in these. Must have finally got past the whole camera shy thing!

Gold Diggers

What cha hatching little hen? "Who me? I'm not hiding anything." Think he will notice?
Camlyn found Caeden's money, which he had left on the counter, and attempted to hide it in his bag. Maybe he should be less obvious next time.

Kindergarden Roundup

This week our big boy is marching off to Kindergarten for a couple of days. The bus comes to pick him up and brings him back, so mommy gets a few days off.

This nice lady showed Caeden the ropes of riding the bus. "Mommy, you don't stand up on the bus. One boy kept standing up and the lady had to tell him over and over to sit down or he would go flying in the air!" Kekoa, "Did anyone go flying in the air?"

The home crew checking it all out. Learning how it is done for when their turn comes. He was really only gone for a little over two hours, normally he is in school for 3.5. Camlyn told me this morning, "I miss Caeden."

Snapin' & Whistlin'

Instead of snapping Brazilians have this thing that they do. Which I believe you have to be at least half Brazilian to do.

Caeden can already do it better than I can. Camlyn well he's got the snap down, just not Brazilian style. The only problem? Camlyn thinks meeting time is time to practice his snap.

The whistling part? Remember this? Well, now it sounds like there is a little bird that follows me around. The whistle comes after-every-sentence.

What's Cookin?

While I was away the other night, Daddy was left in charge of the supper. Looks like he found some wonderful sous chefs!
This one appears to have just gotten back from the market. Think he got a little bit of CHEESE?

Spring!

Nothing is better than kissing little, plump cheeks that have been warmed by the sun. Tickling your nose in hair that has been perfumed by the great outdoors. Spying naked little toes that somehow keep escaping their shoes. Spring is here! Well, at least in the garage. Today we got all the toys cleaned out and cleaned up and air put in the balls. We are ready! Now we just have to wait on the weather, again. Doesn't look to promising this week.
